| Orientation cum awareness programme held | | | Early Times Report
Dablehar, Mar 8: DRDA Jammu organized one day basic orientation cum awareness programme on SGSY at village Dablehar block R.S Pura in which more than 200 people participated.
The adjective of the programme is to impart basic training to the newly formed self help groups and to make the rural people familiar about the SGSY scheme.
S.Gurjeet Singh APO , DRDA explained the concept of self help group in detail and stressed upon the participants to formulate maximum number of self help groups and take advantage of the SGSY scheme.
B.K Pandita Principal Regional Rural extension training center R.S Pura also gave detailed inputs regarding the SGSY and also highlighted the features of new scheme NRLM.
The other participants who spoke in the programme were Baldev Singh Retd .Dy Director AHD, Hasmat Chaudhary VAS. Biaspur S.P Chaudhary Sr. Manager J&K Riana facilitator.
Girish Sharma BDO R.S Pura presided over the function the staff of BDI R.S Pura also participated in the programme
