| JKPA unhappy over Cabinet announcement | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, March 9: THE Jammu Kashmir Physiotherapist Association (JKPA) criticized the announcement in state Cabinet regarding the filling up the physiotherapy posts. They alleged that the Government had tried to confuse the physiotherapy community and the public by casually giving the statement. Meanwhile, their protest dharna entered 107th Day today in front of Old Div. Com. Office. Dr Pardeep Mahotra alleged that in no case they will not backtrack from their demands put forth in the memorandum. He also appealed to CM Omar Abdullah for the introduction of J&K Physiotherapy Council Bill in the current assembly session. Dr. Vimal Singh President JKPA said that the State Government has even not made it clear whether these posts are through PSC or not, how many posts are being advertised and in how much time these posts are to be filled up. He asked the State Govt to clear its statement. He said that if State Government was really serious to solve their plight then it has to invite JKPA delegation for talks on the demands and till then their dharna will continue.
