| Sarbjit is new president of NSUI JU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, March 9: NSUI today declared its unit for Jammu University. The decision was taken by state committee after taking due reports and consultations with various departmental presidents. It was announced on November 9 in a gathering in front of Central Library by state general secretary Arjun Singh Pathania.
Those whose names are cleared by state committee include Sarabjit Singh Randhawa as president, Varun Dev Singh Jamwal as senior vice president, Nitin Sharma and Madhvi Sharma as vice presidents, Sandeep Jamwal as general secretary, Ayushman Kotwal and Jameel Ahmed Tabassum as secretary
Raising the slogans of ‘Sarabjit Singh Zindabad’, ‘NSUI Zindabad’, ‘Hamara Neta Sarabjit Singh’, they took out a victory procession within the university premises. The rally culminated near Social Sciences Department where the gathering was addressed by newly made president.
State general secretary NSUI Arjun Singh Pathania also addressed the gathering and said that the new committee showed good energy in working for the students. He also appreciated the mass support of Sarabjit Singh and other office-bearers.
Abhimanyu Jamwal appreciated the role of organization in selection of able students as the office bearers of Jammu University.
Prominent NSUI leaders who addressed the gathering are state general secretary Charanjeet Singh Cheeku, Azhar Usman Khan, Abhimanyu Jamwal, Sonu Dubey, Sidharth Pathania, Ajaz Ahmed, Chetan Misri, Jagyot Singh, Ranjeet Thakur, Ashish Bandral, Vikas Jasrotia, Varun Sawhney, Pawan Dev Singh Bandral, Sonu Dubey, Somil Abrol, Rahul Sharma, Sumit Kotwal, Nitin Sharma, Madhvi Sharma, Ayushman Kotwal, Bindusar Abrol, and Ravinder Kumar.
