Son approaches HC against transfer of case to CBI

Jammu, March-09 :- In a petition filed by Puneet Chopra son of Lt. RB Chopra seeking quashment of decision of the J&K Govt requesting Central Bureau of Investigation for carrying out investigation in FIR No 107/2006 registered at P/S Bahu-Fort Jammu.
The petitioner also seeking quashment of communication NO: - Home/1/ISA/143/2006 dated February 25, 2011 addressed to Secretary Govt of India Ministry of Personal, New-Delhi Requesting for CBI investigation into the above said FIR u/s 302 RPC in which RB Chopra and his wife Madhu Chopra, daughter Saloni Chopra, Servant Sonu and driver Jagan Nath was brutally murdered.
The petitioner further seeking direction to the respondents to allow the Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by Mr. Farooq Khan DIG Jammu Range to complete the further investigation into the aforementioned FIR expeditiously. The petitioner further seeking direction to DIG to periodically report the progress of the Investigation of Case under FIR 107/2006 to the State High Court and Investigation of the case may kindly be supervised by the High Court.
It is worth mentioning here that Puneet Chopra s/o deceased RB Chopra filed a petition seeking CBI enquiry which was denied by the State High Court with the direction to the police to file Charge-Sheet in the Court and against this order Puneet Chopra filed LPA on November 26, 2009 which was for CBI enquiry, which was later on withdrawn.
