FC Revenue examining circular instructions for issuance of ‘Fard’: Bhalla | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, March 9- Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Mr. Raman Bhalla informed the House that the circular instructions issued by Divisional Commissioner, Jammu not to issue any ‘Fard’ unless it was supposed by a proper ‘Tatima Shejra’. He said that the said circular kept in abeyance by the Government, with a view to obviate the possibility of duplicity which was anticipated to arise because of existence of two sets of instructions for two Divisions of the State as regards the issuance of Revenue extracts. The Minister was replying to a question by S. T. S. Wazir in Legislative Council today. He said it is a fact that to issuance of fresh circular instructions which would be applicable for the whole state was being examined by the department. Accordingly, the Financial Commissioner, Revenue, have been advised to re-examine the circular instructions so issued by the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu in lights of the standing laws and rules and to issue fresh instructions, not in constant with the relevant laws which would be applicable in respect of all regions of the state. He said he has been further advised to ensure that while doing so the spirit of the instructions, issued by the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu is kept intact. Mr. M. Y.
