| PRM express serious concern over increase in militancy | | |
JAMMU | NOV 12 An executive committee meeting of People’s Revolutionary Movement (PRM) was held under the chairmanship of Rajinder Jamwal in which various burning issues were discussed. According to press release the executive members expressed its serious concern over the ever increasing menace of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and high pitch voices of terrorism emanating from different quarters especially the so called mainstream political parties and its leaders. Member said more serious and heart burning matter is that Govt of India has rendered itself to be a mute spectator and secessionists forces are at their peak and their stance has been further emboldened and activities picking up with the situation like was after Ghulam Nabi Azad pleaded clemency for dreaded terrorist, Farooq Abdullah and Mufti Sayeed in similar voices echoed Azad’s suggestion observed PRM. PRM noticed these developments very seriously and said that Govt of India must demonstrate its will to nip evil in the bud otherwise it could be disastrous with serious and far reaching consequences. The meeting further observed that to question accession of J&K with India or even talk of weakening of sovereignty of India voer J&K is not only a sin with excusable remedy from deep slumber. The speakers said PRM is of the firm view that end discrimination for equitable development of all the regions of the state to minimize and bridge up this gap between different regions ad also create harmonious and brotherhoodly relations between different regions of the state there lies one viable and most suitable solution is that of “reorganization of Jammu and Kashmir with Jammu state ranging between Ravi and Peer Panjal”. The executive committee members who participated in its meeting included Sonu Sharma, Rajinder Singh Munna, S. Jaswant Singh, Shamsher Singh, Kuku Baghle, Varinder Slathia, Sanjay Slathia, Mohinder Paul and Gurmeet Singh Shanti etc.
