| DPS celebrates 80th b’day of Maharaja Dr Karan Singh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu , March 9; Delhi Public School, Jammu today celebrated the 80th birthday of Maharaja Dr Karan Singh with great enthusiasm. A special assembly was organized on this auspicious occasion in which students, teachers and Administrative staff participated.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Sudarshan Sonar congratulated and conveyed his heartiest and warm wishes to Dr Karan Singh, on behalf of Management, Staff and students of Delhi Public School, Jammu.
Sonar also thanked him for opening Delhi Public School in Jammu, in order to provide quality education and around development of the students.
The programme concluded with the prayers for the long life, good health and prosperity of Dr. Karan Singh. Sweets were also distributed on this occasion.
It is also in place to mention that 80th Birthday of Maharaja Sahib was also celebrated at many places with great enthusiasm in India and Abroad. The main function was held in Delhi where M K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Member Legislative Council J&K, Kunwarani Ritu Singh , Pro- Vice Chairperson, Delhi Public School Jammu and S. S. Sodhi, Director, Delhi Public School congratulated him and highlighted his contributions and achievements.
