| JKMPCL increases milk procurement price | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu , March 9: The 37th Board of Directors meeting of Jammu & Kashmir Milk Producers Cooperative Limited (JKMPCL) was held at Milk Plant Satwari here today.The meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Dr Mohammad Deen.
In the meeting it was decided to increase the procurement price for milk from Rs 340 per kg fat to Rs 360 per kg fat in case of Buffalo and Rs 16 to Rs 17 (3.5 % fat & 8.5% S.N.F) in case of cow milk in order to benefit about 8000 members of the milk cooperative societies of both the region of Jammu & Kashmir.
These new milk procurement prices will be effective from tomorrow throughout the state.
