| Panun Kashmir reacts to ET report | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, March 10 : Reacting to the recent report published in Early Times newspaper regarding the seminar organized in New Delhi, the Panun Kashmir leader Dr Agnishekhar today said the report has charged the organisation of blasphemy and sedition with the nation which was surprising and far from the truth.
He, however, questioned that how come raising the genuine questions regarding the plight of the community tantamount to sedition as reported in the article.
He said that the nation and masters of its destiny are clamoring for audience and pleading with secessionists, looters and murderers for their attention .This is evident from the recent meeting of interlocutors with Bitta Karate, the man responsible for murder of over 40 kashmiri pandits which he has admitted publicly.
He said that he has failed to understand that how a topic of seminar where in a community inflicted with genocide and exodus asks for its survival is termed as blasphemy and sedition. ``Being a responsible advocate of Panun Kashmir since its inception and in the capacity of its founder convenor, I time and again at different fora whether at Geneva, United States, European Countries and in different parts of India have impressed upon the people about the dangers the Islamic terrorism and their sponsors pose to the unity and integrity of Indian Nation,’’ he said.
He said that Panun Kashmir was the first to oppose the forces advocating greater autonomy, self rule, joint control or any other dispensation which places J&K state outside the constitutional organization of India, appointment of Amitabh Mattoo to the post of V.C of central university of Jammu . The presence of cine star Anupam Kher in world conference and his views on community are in no way detrimental to the cause, he added.
As per the article, there was thin attendance in seminar at constitution club which is laughable. The capacity of the club was packed to full. Regarding Capt S.K.Tickoo not being a scheduled speaker is once again a part of unethical and false campaign .

Terming the work done by PK so far as tokenism and populism tells the prejudice and bias of reporter about the organisation. Holding three historical world conferences of KP’s honoring the doyens of journalism like Giri Lal Jain besides Jagmohan etc with Sharda Samman,Guru Teg Bahadur Kritagyata Yatra involving 20,000 people bringing cultural renaissance in community in response to cultural genocide is not tokenism or populism as reported in the article.
