| SP flays UP govt for mishandling peaceful demonstrators | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, March 10
The Jammu and Kashmir Samajwadi Party have criticised the Mayawati-led BSP government in UP for its barbaric and brutal use of force against the peaceful demonstrators in various parts of the state.
Addressing the party office bearers. State President Sheikh Ab Rehman, ex-MP condemned the behavior of UP police for mishandling Adhitesh Yadav MP at Lucknow Airport while taking him into custody. He alleged that the SP Office at Lucknow has also been fortified and SP supremo- Mulayam Singh Yadav has been put to house arrest without legitimate reasons, adding that JAT people agitating for reservation have halted and disrupted train services in the state causing loss to the government worth crores per day have not brought the attention of the Govt but in case of SP workers protesting against the corruption unemployment and anti-farmer polices in UP state have been subjected to worst type of brutalities showing least regard to human rights.
The SP workers have urged upon the UP Government to dismiss the Mayawati led Govt forthwith so that law of the land and people’s Govt is installed there.
