J&K Budget inflationary: ANC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, March 10: J&K Awami National conference described the J&K Budget as inflationary, non-development and dependant on central schemes. It has not spelt measures for resource mobalisation and has ignored the unemployed youth of the State. ANG senior vice president Muzzafar Shah pointed out that raising the prices of edible oils and livestock would have a circulatory effect on prices on other essentials, thereby hitting the common masses as also the poor ruralites . He said that the state Govt. has not taken any measures nor spelt a word in checking the price of essential commodities. The Finance Minister proposals has not indicated any schemes to generals resources mobalisation . Rather’s budget is heavily dependant on central schemes. Unfortunately the present coalition Govt which has been making tall claims of addressing issues of unemployment through Rangarajan report has not taken any concrete step to generate employment avenues for the majority of education youth, power generation, water management and sectors like horticulture, agriculture and tourism, he said. Shah said that the conduct of the legislators in the on going session had dismayed the general public at large. Instead of taking up public issues, the legislators are more interested in ensuring their perks and salaries. Others who spoke on the occasion included Gh.
