| Drug regulatory officials workshop conducted | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, MARCH 10- In order to keep Drug Regulatory Officials abreast with latest development in the field of pharmaceutical technology, a 2-day workshop was conducted by the Deputy Controller, Drugs & Food, Jammu.
Controller, Drugs & Food, Satish Gupta impressed upon the participating officers/ officials to work with zeal and dedication for the betterment of health services. He lamented the need for maintaining transparency and professionalism in discharging of their legitimate duties.
Deputy Director, Drugs & Food, Jammu, Lotika Khajuria expressed her satisfaction with the overall functioning of the field staff but at the same time cautioned about complacency. She appreciated the steps being taken by the Directorate to bring drastic changes for effective implementation of regulations in force.
The workshop was attended by eminent professionals and technocrats from C.D.S.C.O., Multi-National Pharma Manufacturing Houses and Blood Bank experts.
Power-point presentations were presented by senior officers of the department on various aspects associated with regulation. The concluding session was marked by deliberations by the participants and the panel discussions.
