SDM pays surprise visit to govt offices in Dudu | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT UDHAMPUR MARCH 10- SDM Dudu Basantgarh Amit Sharma today paid a surprise visit to many government offices and public institutions located in remote areas of the Sub Division, namely Chor Mottu, Chor Panjian and Garh Samna Banj areas and took action against the defaulting and absentee Government officials there. The SDM, during his two day visit to this area, conducted extensive tour in this belt of Dudu Basantgarh Sub Division and checked the attendance of employees and also monitored the pace of developmental activities in these areas. During his visit to Govt. High School Chor Mottu, he found headmaster Romal Singh absent during the ongoing examinations. Similarly, he visited Anganwadi Centres Mottu No.1, Mottu No.2, Mottu No.3, Pandar, Panjian, Baril, Kuppar and Nakain where most of the Angadwadi workers and Helpers were found absent for which he ordered a detailed enquiry report from CDPO Dudu Basantgarh. He also found Health Sub Centre and Veterinary Sub Centre in Chor Mottu functioning in depleted conditions without adequate staff on which SDM directed concerned officers to take immediate necessary action to improve their functionng. Apart from this, SDM made an inspection of functioning of CAPD store in the area which was found functioning normally and ration was being distributed along with kerosene to the public of the area. He also directed BDO Dudu Basantgarh to take up some immediate works under MGNREGA. Various deputations of the public met SDM Dudu Basantgarh during this visit and requested for provision of more water and electricity connections in the area to which SDM immediately directed concerned works departments to make spot visits within a week and submit report in this behalf so that the same can be redressed at the earliest. Moreover, he directed officers of all the departments to make fortnightly visits to these areas of the Sub Division on a regular basis and submit progress reports accordingly so that development remains consistent even in these belts of the Sub Division.
