| Separatists reach Delhi for talks with visiting Pak FN Secy | | | Srinagar, Nov 13 The frontline separatist leaders have reached Delhi for talks with Pakistan Fooriegn Secretar Reyaz Mohd Khan visiting New Delhi for Forien Secretary level talks with his Indian Counterpart in Delhi. Hurriyat (G) Chairman Syed Ali shah Geelani left for New Delhi on Monday afternoon and before his Departure for Delhi, Geelani while talking to KNS said " I will try to know something about the change Pakistan has shown on its 59 year long stated position on Kashmir issue. I have been invited by Pakistan Forieg Secretary for talks and I will let him know about Hurriyat's state position on Kashmir issue and the ground reality prevailing in Jammu & Kashmir State". Intrerstingly Geelani is for the first time holding a meeting with any top official of Pakistan Government to break the 2 year long deadlock with the country which considered Geelani its best bet in Kashmir previously. He clarified that doubts created in the aftermath of changes in Pakistan's Kashmir policy must be cleared. The two year long bitterness with Musharaff regime on some changes in Pakistan's Kashmir policy was marked by some highly critical statements which Geelani made against Musharaff regime. The four member delegation of the moderate faction of Hurriyat Conference led by Prof Ab Ghani Bhat also left for New Delhi. The other two members of the delegation are Agha Syed Hassan and Maulana Abas Ansari, the two top Shiite clerics in the valley, while as Bilal Ghani Lone has already reached Delhi. Before leacing for Delhi, Agha Syed Hassan while talking to KNS said "India and Pakistan will have to involve Kashmiris before reaching a final settlement on Kashmir issue. The ongoing dialogue process needs to be accelerated". Democratic Freedom Party President Shabir Ahmed Shah is scheduled to leave for New Delhi on Tuesday.
