Minor among 4 killed in JK

Srinagar, Nov 13
One eight year old minor boy was killed in a landmine explosion at Rajouri, while as one person was injured in a firing incident at Nesbal Sumbal. Meanwhile bodies of two civilians were recovered from Mattan and Uri areas during last 24 hours in valley.
A land mine, according to reports reaching here, exploded at Nowhera Rajouri near actual Line of Control (LoC) as a result of which one eight year old minor boy identified as Showkat Ahmed was killed. A civilian Showkat Ahmed Mir S/O Ab Khaliq was injured during army's practice firing at Nesbal Sumbal. The locals allege that practice firing of army often grips panic among people.
Meanwhile the body of an official of stone crusher plant has been mysteriously recovered from Mattan Anantnag. The people , according to reports, spooted a body near a water tanky and police was informed immediately. Police took the body into its custody and the persons was identified as 35 year old Farooq Ahmed Rather S/O Abdul Wahab R/O Bemthan Meer Bazar Anantnag. No signs of tourture were, according to plice, visible on the body of the deceased and nothing can be said about his death at present. Police registered a case under section 174 RPC and starting investigating the matter. It has been learnt that Farooq Ahmed was working in a stone crushed plant at Mattan.
The body of a person identified as Mushtaq Ahmed shah R/O nowpora Salamabad Uri killed during a traffic accident , when a TAT Sumo carrying two passengers skidded off the road and fell into river Jehlum, was fished out from River Jehlum in Uri. The body was handed over to the family of the deceased person.
