| Handball association to hold 16th North zone competition | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 11: The Jammu and Kashmir Handball Association (HKHA) is hosting the16th North Zone Championship for both men and women from March15-17. This was disclosed by S M Bali, president, J&K Handball Association. He said about six teams from North Zone including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh and the Host Jammu and Kashmir in which about 190 players are taking part in the championship for both men and women section.
Bali further mentioned that for the promotion of Handball in the State, J&K Handball Association is association with Police Department would hold short term coaching camps in all the age groups.
The Association president further highlighted about the performance of its player at national and international level. He added that sports council has withdrawn the show cause notice against the association and called to revive its activities besides proposals for development of Handball Association. |
