| Painting competition held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 11: A painting competition was organized by Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Gandhi Nagar, here today.
The competition was held under the banner of World Wide Federation (WWF) and the theme of the competition was Bio Diversity Conservation.
Raj Bharti a social worker was the chief guest on the occasion. She stressed upon the time management and advised the students to concentrate on their painting to make it more appropriate.
The overall competition was organized under the guidance of teacher Kanchan Sharma.
Principal of the school Tarseem Lal besides staff members were also present on the occasion.
Ranja from 9th standard beg first prize while Pankaj Kumar from 9th standard beg 2nd prize whereas 3rd prize awarded to Shiva Nand from 9th.
There are four consolation prizes awarded to Roshanof 11th class, Vishal Thakur of 9th class, Rahul 9th class and Govind of 9th class.
