| Camp on ‘National Rural Development Mission’ organized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, March 11: Regional Rural Extension Training Center R.S Pura in active coordination and collaboration of Jagriti Mahila Udyog Kendra and some other NGOs today organize training camp on National Rural Development Mission, at block headquarter Vijaypur.
The training camp was organized jointly by field staff of Vijaypur block Gramin Rozgar Savek self help groups and Nehru Yuva Kendra volunteers. One hundred twelve trainees from Vijaypur block participated in the program.
The training was imparted by the principal Regional Rural Training Center RS Pura BK Pandita and Faculty member RK Koul. The participants were imparted training on topics as per model developed by National Institute of Rural Development Hyderabad. The topics included nation wide study of SGSY, formation of self help groups, federation camps, pro active role of DRDA and identification of livelihood opportunities in rural areas.
BDO Vijaypur Sh. Noor Alam addressed the participants on contents of National Rural Livelihood Mission.
