JKNPP terms BJP leaders ‘Opportunists’ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 11: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) has accused Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of exploiting sentiments of people of Jammu region for fulfilling its political agenda and termed its leaders ‘Opportunists’. In a handout issued here today, JKNPP chairman Bhim Singh has said that statement of BJP’s state leaders demanding a Board for Jammu is no surprise for those who are aware of its mysterious agenda on J&K and hidden relationship with Abdullah dynasty since 1999 when the present Chief Minister was in the lap of BJP. He said that BJP was the first to demand trifurcation of the state and when it tied a knot with NC, it changed its colours from separation to provincial council. JKNPP supremo reiterated his Party’ agenda in 2011 that reorganization of the state is the only answer to all ills of the state. Panthers Party chief appealed to the people of the state to ensure its reorganization so there shall be separate Assemblies for each Province, with separate budgets and separate recruitment and planning with out breaking the state. Meanwhile, JKNPP has condemned arrest of District President of JKNPP for Kupwara Jhangir Khan at Tangdhar. They have demanded immediate release of Jahangir Khan and an apology from the Chief Minister for curbing freedom of speech and expression which is soul of our democracy.
