| Examination hall at Janipur inaugurated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, March 11: Dr Pawan Kotwal Divisional Commissioner Jammu inaugurated the newly constructed Examination Hall at Janipur Colony. The examination hall was got constructed by NHPC Limited under Corporation Social Responsibility Community by Development Scheme (CSR-CD) of NHPC Limited.
Dr Kotwal was welcomed by Jatinder Singh Executive Director (R-I) NHPC Limited. Speaking on the occasion Dr Kotwal appreciated the efforts of NGPC Limited towards Corporate Social Responsibility Community Development and added that the students of the School shall have the facility of examination hall which is the bare minimum requirement of any educational institute.
Speaking on the occasion Jatinder Singh ED (R-I) NHPC Limited said that NHPC Limited has been taking such initiatives towards Corporate Social Responsibility Community Development since 2006 and has taken a no of initiatives I and around the Project area in the country including J&K State in the field of Health Education Peripheral Development and others.
Crores of Rupees are being spent by NHPC Limited towards community development. In the current financial year Rs 75 lacs were spent for development of the community in J&K State only. He hoped that in the coming years huge expenditures are expected to be made in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility to help out the poor downtrodden people in and around the work places of NHPC Limited.
