| Mega Lok-Adalat decides 600 cases | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, March-11 (JNF):- Today a Mega Lok-Adalat was held at in the District Court Complex Jammu under the Chairmanship of Principal District & Sessions Judge AK Shan who is also Chairman District Legal Service Authority.
Six Benches were constituted which took up 732 cases and decided 600. The cases including 29 under MACT in which Rs 95 lacs award was passed. 50 bank cases for settled for an amount of Rs 1, 63, 57, 000. 392 Traffic Cases were also disposed of by imposing fine of Rs 65000/-. The other cases including petty criminal cases and four matrimonial cases were also disposed of. The Mega Lok-Adalat is being held tomorrow i.e. March 12, 2011 also. JNF
