KPC accuses centre, state of neglecting J&K | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 11: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has questioned both the state and central government on behalf of the community to explain reasons for negating them from basic fundamental rights, right of franchise, right of representation and right to live together as a community at their birth place This was stated by KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri, while addressing party activists and supporters at New Delhi. He said that government has to explain the reason for ignoring the age relaxation demand of Kashmiri Pandit youths who are facing a lot of financial hardships and other problems. Ignoring non-camp migrants who are residing on rent, by not providing them accommodation and other facilities at par with camp dwellers. Kundan Kashmiri also demanded that a high power committee be constituted to probe about the human rights violations and actions faced by the Kashmiri Pandits for last sixty years in the valley. He also appealed opposition members in the parliament of India as well as to opposition members of J&K assembly to raise their demands in the house particularly in respect of passing Temple and Shrine bill and consolidated rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in the valley. Others who spoke included H.L.Mujoo, R.L.Raina and Susheel Bhat.
