| Arrangements for celebrations of Children’s Day finalised | | |

Arrangements for celebrations of Children’s Day all over the state have been finalized at a high level meeting here today. The meeting was chaired by Minister for Education Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed.
Minister of State for Higher Education Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Khan was also present in the meeting.
The meeting decided that the biggest celebration would start at M.A. Stadium Jammu at 2 P.M with welcome song followed by March past, cultural events and other activities. It was also decided that Best Teachers Award would also be given at the grand function.
It was told that about 25000 teachers and students are likely to participate in the celebration of the day at M. A. Stadium Jammu.
On the occasion, Peerzada was informed that adequate arrangements for security and traffic movement were made so that the participants and common people should not face any inconvenience. He was also informed that adequate transport facilities for participants of educational institutions was also made and other necessary arrangements were also made for success of celebrations.
Peerzada personally visit M. A. Stadium today to take stock of final arrangements made by the administration. |
