| Power shut down | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, MARCH 12-In order to carry out the works of extension of bus bars of capacitor bank alongwith allied works of grid station, the power supply of 33 KV yard of 220/132/33 KV Grid station Gladni. During the shutdown period, the power supply to Gandhinagar, Narwal, Trikutanagar, Nanaknagar, Channi-Himmat, Sainik Colony, CM’s residence and part of the Jammu city shall remain affected on March 13, 2011 from 0900 hours to 1100 hours.
Similarly, in order to complete the work of replacement/restringing of conductor of 132/33 KV D/C Gladni-Hirangar transmission line in between Bari-Brahamna-II to Samba section, the shut down shall remain affected on March 11 to 16, 2011.
The shutdown is subject to fair weather condition.
