| Mega Lok Adalat concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, MARCH 12- The mega Lok Adalat was convened under the Chairmanship of Chairman District Legal Services Authority, (Pr District & Sessions Judge), Jammu, Mr A K Shan held in District Court Complex Jammu was concluded today.
Hundred of cases were decided in six benches. In total 1524 cases were takenup, out of which 1354 cases came to be settled.
In the 2-day of mega Lok Adalat 89 bank cases have been settled for an amount of Rs.2 crore and about 4 lakh.
Similarly 96 MACT cases have been settled for an amount of Rs.2 crore and about 4 lakh.
So far petty criminal cases are concerned these have been decided in the number of 277. The 886 traffic cases have also been settled in which fine of rs.1,69,200/-has been realized.
