| Day long conference of ‘Students Federation’ held | | |

Jammu, March 13: A day long conference of Jammu and Kashmir Students Federation was held at Bikram Chowk, Jammu which was presided over by its convener Sagar Manotra.
The participants took stock of the prevailing academic scenario and various problems confronted by the student community of the state.
Comrade Vikram Singh, State President Himachal Pradesh addressed the conference and assured all fraternal help to the student community of J&K from SFI unit Himachal Pradesh where SFI is a force to reckon with and a vanguard of the progressive student and youth movements of Northern India.
On the occasion the speakers highlighted the achievements of students movement across the country. Various resolutions were passed. Though a unanimous resolution J&K SF asserted to contribute towards further strengthening of the secular fabric of the state.
Eleven member organizing committee of the organization was formed.
