| Mega LoK Adalat held in MCC, RS Pura | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 13:A mega Lok Adalat were held on 11th and 12th of March 2011 at Munsiff Court complex R S Pura Manjeet Rai Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee RS Pura presided over the bench when H S Gill Sub Divisional Police Officer RS Pura and Ram Lal Sharma, Tehsildar RS Pura were present on the occasion.
During the course of deliberation 22 cases pertaining to Civil, Compoundable Criminal cases, under section 138 N. I. Act summary trial cases and Motor Vehicle Act cases were listed before the LOK Adalat. Out of this 13 cases were disposed off. Large number of litigants, prominent citizens, members of Bar Association R.S. Pura and SPO Mr. Anil Jamwal from prosecution agency participated in Lok Adalat. Fine amounting to Rs. 5700 was released during the proceeding of the Lok Adalat.
