| Cosmo Club lifts district Softball championship | | |
EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, March 13: Cosmo Club registered a narrow one home (11-10) win over Evershine Club to clinch the Jammu District Softball Championship held under the banner of J&K Softball Association at GGM Science College ground, here today.
For Cosmo Club, Rawat Singh, Vishal Chib, Dheeraj Salaria, Vikas and Rohit scored two homes each while Ashish added one. From losers, Evershine Club, Ajay, Rakesh Kumar, Jasbir and Tej Singh contributed two homes each while Anil and Rakesh managed one each.
In the girls section, Khalsa Club beat Secular Club by four homes to three to emerge winners.
Abdul Ahad Bhat, Information Officer was the chief guest in the valedictory function, who distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams. Among others present included general secretary, J&K Softball Association, CL Bhat.
