EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 13: A day after stealing goods worth lakhs from three shops at Mendhar bus stand in Poonch, burglars Saturday night struck
a government higher secondary school in the town and decamped with a colour television set.
Police sources said burglars stole a Philips colour television set from the school library last night.
Police had registered a case in this connection.
The school did not have a night watchman. Sources said despite repeated representations to the higher authorities, no watchman was made available to the school.
