| DIG inaugurates science labs of KC Gurukul School | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Mar 13: Deputy Inspector General of Police Udhampur-Reasi Range Jagjit Kumar inaugurated the newly established science
laboratories at K. C Gurukul School Jakhar at Udhampur here today.
Science laboratories inaugurated by the DIG include Physic, Chemistry,
Biology and mathematic for senior sections of the school. Chairman of
the school, Anil Mahajan, Academic Director, Vijay Puri, Lt. Col.
(Retd), Juneja and prominent citizens including Mohan Sharma, R.L
Kotwal, Kulbushan Gupta, Subash Sharma and staff members of the
institution were present on the occasion.
Complimenting school management, Chief Guest Jagjit Kumar lauded their
efforts for the establishment of science laboratories equipped with
latest equipments for the benefit of the students. On the occasion,
DIG interacted with the school management and also had a round of
newly created different laboratories of the institution.
Speaking on the occasion, Academic Director apprised the chief guest
and the parents present on the occasion about the futuristic plans of
the school, which shall broadly included inclusion of humanities
stream in 2013-14 stream. The management has further planned to
provide quality professional guidance and teaching for IIT, AIEEE,
AIMC, AFMC, NDA and CAT for state level entrance test, she added
