| J&K Bank wins first prize in Science exhibition | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu , March 14
For the record fourth time in a row, J&K Bank has won the first prize for ‘Best Maintained Public Park & Garden’ at the annual Science Exhibition and Flower show organized by Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (formerly RRL).
Vice President, Jammu, Central Zone, Madan Gupta received the “World Wide Fund Rolling Trophy” on behalf of the Bank. The Bank also bagged four other prizes under different categories during the show. All the present dignitaries and participants hailed the role of Bank as a responsible corporate entity of the state.
Under the Corporate Social Responsibility, J&K Bank is maintaining and developing the Rajinder Park for the last seven years. The park abounds in 25 different varieties of forest plants, more than 100 varities of ornamental plans and about 50 varieties of Annual Flower Plants. The best Chinar trees with lush green leaves can also be seen in the park. In addition, the Bank is also maintaining Children’s Park in its vicinity and Walk way for benefit of general public and morning walkers along the banks of Ranbir Canal.
The Bank besides playing a pivotal role in economic development of the State and country contributes significantly towards the social causes as well.
