AIDS awareness camp organised

KATHUA, March 14: CRPF Battalion in collaboration with SPARSH organised a seven day long AIDS awareness camp at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, Kathua.
DIG CRPF Jammu Range, Parladh Singh inaugurated the camp with traditional lighting of lamp.
Dr A. K Malhotra, Executive Secretary Red Cross Kathua S.D Singh, volunteers from Red Cross, students from schools and colleges were also present in the function.
Comdt 121 Bn CRPF V.S Joon welcomed the guests and detailed the gathering about the facilities being provided in the camp. He said CRPF is always ready to contribute by playing positive role in the social activities like de addiction programme for drug addicts and handicaps besides defending the motherland.
DIG CRPF Jammu Range Parladh Singh appealed the august gathering to contribute to spread the awareness regarding the disease for the welfare of public.
DDC Kathua Zahidha Khan hailed the efforts of CRPF for organizing awareness camp on deadly diseases which engulfs million of peoples every year across the world.
