| Guest lecture on personality, assessment delivered | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu , March 15: In its guest lecture series at MIER College of Education, Dr Arti Bakshi, Associate Professor and Head P.G. Department, University of Jammu was invited to deliver a guest lecture on ‘Personality and Its Assessment’ for the benefit of students of college of education.
Dr. Renu Gupta, Director MIER, Dr. Adit Gupta, Joint Director MIER, Dr. Surinder Kaur and other faculty members of MIER College of Education also graced the occasion.
Welcoming the distinguished speaker, Dr. Adit Gupta commended her for not only excelling in academics and research but also being an avid sports person and N.S.S. officer. He also expressed his gratitude to her for coming to the college and enlightening the students on a very pertinent topic related to their curriculum.
Dr. Arti Bakshi, the learned resource person deliberated upon personality and the techniques of its assessment. The views on techniques and levels of measurement of personality were also shared with the students. She also deliberated upon the subjective, objective and projective tests in detail. A lively interactive session followed in which the students, queries were dealt with by the worthy resource person.
Dr. Renu Gupta, Director MIER also shared her views. To conclude the session, Angela Gadroo presented the formal vote of thanks. The programme was conducted by Sakshi Mahajan, Lecturer B.Ed.
