| AIDS awareness rally taken out in Kathua | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, March 15: A procession was taken out around the Kathua town to spread the awareness about the Acquired immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) by 121 Battalion CRPF in collaboration with ‘SPARSH’ India.
Several students participated in the procession which started from Government Women Degree College Kathua.
The procession was flagged off by the CRPF Comdt.121 Bn V.S Joon. The procession concluded at Mahatma Gandhi hospital where the participated students were given the certificates and some refreshments.
On the occasion the CRPF Comdt.121 Bn V.S Joon informed that the CRPF 121 Bn has organized seven days awareness programme on the AIDS and also appealed the AIDS victims to come and contact so as to get the treatment free of cost and even assured that the name of the victim would never be disclosed .
