Industrial estate at Bajwani Tral likely: Slathia | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 15: Jammu and Kashmir government would set up an Industrial estate at Bajwani Tral to provide employment avenues, adding for the purpose 200 kanals of land have been identified and the construction work of the Estate would be started after completion of land acquisition process. This was stated by Minister for Industries and Commerce Surjeet Singh Salathia while replying to a question by Mushtaq Ahmad Shah in the Legislative Assembly here today. Minister said that thrust is being laid to boost industries in the area, adding that under the industrial programme, the department has granted permanent registration to 38 MSME units for setting up of different industrial activities which have provided employment opportunities to 132 persons of the area. He said that under PMEGP 32 unemployed youth have been benefited in the said constituency. Minister said the basic raw material of limestone is available for production of cement in Satoore Tral and its adjoining areas, adding that Geology and Mining Department has already established reserves of limestone in the area. He said any entrepreneur willing to establish cement plant may approach to the Department.
