JKTF team meets DSE, list demands | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, March 15: A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum led by its State General Secretary Ganesh Khajuria called on Director School Education, Gulzar Ahmed Qureshi. The forum members highlighted various demands pertaining to the teaching community which included early disposal of pending time bound promotion cases in favour of teachers / masters as per SRO-42 dated February 2,.2011, provision of release of Half Yearly Salary Grants, transfer of masters posted in other districts to their parent districts on priority basis., issuance of orders for teachers promoted to master Grade, induction of Five Years Service of RET Teachers for promotion benefits and allotment of GPF number of RET teachers who have been regularized after January 1, 2010. Their other demands included confirmation of EVS as Teachers after their (5+6) years of Service, filling up all the posts of Teachers / Masters /Headmasters /ZEO’s, transfers policy of RET Teachers after their regularization, early disposal of pending cash-in-lieu cases of retired Teachers /Masters/Headmasters /ZEOs.. Similarly, they also demanded transfer of teachers to District Jammu who were appointed as Teachers and placed in Schools now in Samba District and confirmation order in favour of teachers /masters who have completed their two years of service. The Director gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured he would look into the matter. Others present included Ganesh Khajuria, Rajinder Gupta, Gopal Singh, Satish Dutta, Kuldeep Singh, Surjit Singh, Gopal Sharma, Surinder Choudhary, Vinay Sharma, Dharminder Singh, Gurjeet Singh, Amarnath Thakur, Mohd. Sadiq, Darshan Sharma, Charan Dass, Surat Singh Tofani, S.Surinder Singh, Naresh Sharma, Vishwarmitter, Ashok Raina Suraj Verma, Jai Singh, Digvijay Singh, Subash Singh Jamwal, Yashpal Sharma.
