| SDM files pre-arrest bail application | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Mar 15: In the fake gun licence scam, Mendhar SDM Mukhtiyar Ahmed choudhary, who was alleged to be an accused, today filed a pre-arrest bail application in the court of principal sessions judge, Jammu.
The application was transferred by principal sessions judge to the court of 2nd additional sessions judge Vinod Chatterji Koul, who directed additional public prosecutor to file a report and objections in the case.
choudhary has sought bail in FIR No 18/2011 registered against him with Janipur police station for alleged commission of offences under sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of RPC read with section 3/25 of
Arms Act.
In the bail application, he claimed that the case registered against him was false and frivolous.
