| Multi lingual mushaira held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, March 16: A multi lingual mushaira cum music programme was held at Banihal in which several local poets took part. The mushaira was organised by the state Cultural Academy as part of its drive to promote literary activities at the grass roots level.
Prominent among those who participated in the mushaira were Hassan Banihali, Zahir Banihali, Majrooh Banihali and Gulab Saifi among others.
The mushaira was presided over by noted poet Manshoor Banihali. The Cultural Academy was represented by cultural officer, Doda Assadulalh Wani.
Later on a music programme was also held at the venue in which among others Abdul Rashid Wagay, Farooq Ahmad Khokar, Bahar Ahmad and Rubina Kousar participated.
