Transfer Local Police and Civil administrative officers: BVS | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, March 16: Demanding transparency and fair play in the declared Panchayat elections in the state, Bhartiya Vidharthi Sena ( a youth wing of Shiv Sena) has requested the Election Commission of India, Governor NN Vohra, BR Sharma, Chief Electoral Officer Jammu and Kashmir to ensure equality in the Panchayat elections. In a press note issued , Vikrant Sharma, President, BVS Jammu and Kashmir State has asked the state government to transfer all the local Police officers from their native place of posting and have similarly demanded that all the IAS, IPS, KAS and other civil administrative officers should also be transferred to ensure free and fair election. Citing the example of Jammu district, he said, in Jammu district many Local senior officers in Revenue department and police are posted here leaving every possibility and chance that these officers influence the election process. In a confidential letter written to election commission of India and Governor NN Vohra, Vikrant Sharma has given details of all the Revenue Officers and Police Officers who are serving in their home district and in some cases even in their native Tehsils. The secret letter included the name of officers of all ranks.
