| NC leader tours Bani, apprised of problems | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, March 16: Former Deputy Speaker and National conference leader Ghulam Hyder Malik conducted five-days extensive tour in far-flung area of Bani and Billawar assembly segment village Bahtodi, Guduflal.
During the tour, the NC leader interacted with the people and was apprised of the problems being faced by them .
The problems putforth by the people of the area included non-availability of roads, ration, power supply, and shortage of teachers at Govt. High school, Bhatodi.
Malik alleged that the funds sanctioned for road and bridges were utilised at some other places instead of actual places. He alleged that the funds provided under MNREGA project were not utilized so far and the poor people are away from the benefits of MNREGA and were not given the jobs. He alleged that the development works also hang in balance due to not implementation of MNREGA. Malik urged the Chief Minister to look into the matter and take necessary action .
