HC directs Domana PS SHO to appear for abduction case

JAMMU, Mar 16: In an alleged case of abduction of a minor girl, High Court judge, Justice J P Singh today directed Domana police station SHO to appear before the court.
The court directive came in a habeas corpus petition filed by the girl's father.
In the petition, he sought direction to police to recover his minor girl from the illegal confinement of a man and hand her over to him.
Chinore police post incharge, who was present in the court, said the investigation in the case was being conducted by headconstable Manohar Lal. After persual of the case diary produced by the police post incharge, Justice Singh said it had become necessary to summon the concerned investigation officer (IO) and the Domana police station
SHO to know about the steps taken by them to trace the girl and the accused.
With this observation, he directed the SHO and the IO to appear before the court on the next date of hearing. ( JNF)
