| Two day workshop on RCEM approach concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 17: Two day state level workshop on “Preparation of lesson plan based on RCEM approach “organized by Trikuta College of Education (TCE) Nardani concluded here today.
Workshop commenced on March 16 this year with lighting of a lamp and Saraswati Vandana. About thirty colleges of Jammu and Kashmir participated in the workshop. Chairman of the College Dr Roop Lal Sharma welcomed the experts who led the workshop and guided the participants.
Workshop on English was led by Dr. Ritu Magotra- Associate Professor, Govt PG College of Education Jammu which was very interesting and attractive. Dr. Magotra clarified the concept on preparation of lesson plan based on the RCEM approach.
Second session of the workshop was led by Dr. Ira Bhan, Associate Professor from PG Department of MIER College of Education. She delivered interesting lecture on the Subject Hindi and guided the participants about preparation of lesson plan.
After Hindi subject, Dr. Nikhat Qureshi from Govt PG College of Education imparted the lesson on preparation of lesson plan efficiently. All the students enjoyed the lesson and prepared a lesson plan on Urdu subject. She also clarified the concept and provided useful suggestions to the participants.
Workshop for the subject Mathematics was led by Dr. J.N. Balia, University of Jammu. The workshop led by him was extraordinary. He clarified the concept and involved the participants in each and every step of preparing the lesson plan.
The workshop was concluded by Prof. Lokesh Verma, HOD and Dean Faculty of education who was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He appreciated the efforts made by the college in organizing such type of workshops. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Roop Lal Sharma- Chairman Shri Sain Charitable Trust laid emphasis on organizing such type of workshops for other colleges besides College of Education.
