| `NC committed for upliftment of downtrodden’ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu , March 17: Jammu & Kashmir National Conference, Provincial President Rattan Lal Gupta has said that NC stands for unity of the State and balanced development of all the regions. Addressing to an impressive gathering of party workers from Chamb, District Jammu Rural “A” at Sher-i-Kashmir Bhawan today, Rattan Lal Gupta said that National Conference Party aims at strengthening unity of the people living in different parts of the State and amelioration of lot of downtrodden masses irrespective of their colour religion & languages.
He stressed upon the party workers to work for widening the party base in their area, and ensure success of clean imaged candidates in the panchayat elections so that they can be involved in the implementation process of government plans and strategies and translate developmental policy of the government in to action.
He also highlighted and appreciated people oriented policies and programmes of the state government under the leadership of Omar Abdullah.
