| Medical sub division reconstituted in PHE | | |

A meeting of PHE Mechanical division North was held under the presidentship of Om Parkash in which Medical Sub–Division body was re-constituted. Besides various demands of the employees were highlighted.
Hira Nand was elected as chairman, Bal Krishan and Rakesh Abbi as Vice Presidents, Ramesh Singh , Tilak Raj Sharma and Mahesh Sharma (Raju) as Secretaries, Sanjay Gupta as Cashier, Sanjeev Gupta as Spokesperson, Gopal Dass as Organizer, S.Balbinder Singh as Joint Secretary and Mr. Vijay Singh as Legal Advisor. The members are Madan Lal Sharma, Yash Paul, Pritam Parkash, Raj Kumar, Banarsi Lal and Narinder Singh.
Highlighting to demands Om Parkash said that government has announced the enhancement of rates for community participation workers Rs. 2100/- per month but they have not been paid so far and demanded that the enhanced amount should be released immediately. The daily wagers who have completed 7 years of service should be regularized and one day extra pay sanctioned by the government should be given to the employees.
He expressed concern over the recovery to the Non-ITI employees by the AG office at the time of retirement and termed it very unfortunate. He demanded that department should settle this issue before the date of retirement of the Non-ITI employees.
Others who spoke in the meeting included Vijay Luthar, Ajay Sharma, Raman Kumar, Brij Mohan and Ramesh Verma.
