| Sikh displaced meet Bakaya, list demands | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, March 17: An apex body of Kashmiri Sikh Displaced Forum called on National Conference M.L.C Vijay Bakaya under the chairman ship of Patron K.S.D.F. and N.C District vice president Srinagar. Harmohinder Singh and discussed their problems.
Singh urged Vijay Bakaya to raise the issue of displaced people on the floor of house vociferously vis a vis their comprehensive rehabilitation not only in Jammu but in Kashmir as well.
Meanwhile, it has been decided unanimously a minority cell unit of National conference will be opened at Shastri Nagar very shortly.
Chairman K.S.D.F. K.C. Singh Mehta urged upon the government to construct more and more quarters at Jagti town ship to accommodate the displaced people those who are on rented basis at different place since their forceful exodus from their homes and hearths in year 1990.
President Prem Singh Raina expressed the gratitude towards Bakaya for listening wholeheartedly the problems of Sikh community, Kashmir Pandits, Apex body members of Kashmiri Sikhs` Displaced Forum so that they will succeed in their mission and endeavor.
Those who present in the meeting were vice president. Kirat Singh Sodhi,.Jasbir Singh Bali Gen Secy.Balbir Singh Mehta, Secy S.Harcharan Singh Tulla, Cashier S, Avter Singh Baramulla Advisers, Jatinder Singh (Jyoti) .
