| Congress led coalition has no specific policy on Kashmir: Chaman | | |

Communal division of India in 1947 was ill-conceived and the result of machinations of the foreign rulers. Now the only solution of this painful partition lied in minimizing the effects of it instead of creating anymore tensions.
Chaman Lal Gupta former union minister and a senior leader of the BJP while interacting with party activist and veterans of his ancestors border village of Kaleeth in Chhamb Jouria sector said that Congress leadership had deceived the countrymen in 1947 by accepting the communal partition of the country although earlier they had promised loudly that they would never accept it as Pakistan would come to be on their dead bodies. After accepting this partition the Congress had lost their secular character and main pillar of their party’s philosophy. But they are still being guided by communal considerations and creating vote banks by dividing the people which could lead to further vivisection of India i.e. Bharat.
The second main pillar of the Congress philosophy was the slogans of democracy. But this party has itself demolished this pillar by perpetrating dynasty hegemony with their own party. He pointed out the recalled that Congress has supported the Sheikh led National Conference on the plea, that they were opposed to the dynastic control power by Maharajas but not only the Congress but the National Conference too, have come to be the dynastic parties.
He observed that Congress has now left like a body which has lost its soul. Hence, it has come to be dangerous for the country and its people. He said that Congress led coalition has no policy especially on terrorism. They lost everything which was achieved during the NDA rule led by Vajpayee.
In this regard he particularly questioned the Congress leadership that why they has stopped peace process with Pakistan after the blast at Mumbai and what change has taken place since then that they are resuming this process again.
Prof. Gupta asked the party activists and all the right thinking people to expose this Congress which has come to be a soulless body being guided by foreign pressures.
