| Sahitya Sangam organises Mushaira | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, March 18: To commemorate the silver jubilee celebrations of Sahitya Sangam Jammu, the Punjabi Sahitya Sangam and Academy of Art, Culture and Languages jointly organised a mushaira at KL Saigal Hall.
The mushaira was presided over by member legislative council and chairman Gurudwara Prabhandak Board Jammu, TS Wazir while noted poet-litterateur, Pritpal Singh Betab presided over.
Speaking on the occasion Wazir appreciated the Cultural Academy for organising the Punjabi mushaira thereby providing Punjabi writers an opportunity to assemble at a common platform for creative discourse.
On the occasion, Wazir, Betab said that it was because of Cultural Academy’s support that literature was being written and read in regional languages of the said.
Prominent among those who were participated in the mushaira included RS Mastana, A S Mastana, KK Shakar, Bhupinder Bhargav, Balwinder Singh Bachchan, Baljit Raina and Harmeet Kour.
