Pandita demanded construction of Satellite Township in Kashmir

JAMMU, March 18: Pradesh Congress Committee (Minority Cell) J&K and Soan Kashmir Front J&K headed by S.L. Pandita, General Secretary PCC Minority Cell and President Soan Kashmir Front" held a meet.
While speaking in the Conference S.L. Pandita appraised that a list of 400 genuine migrant families putting up at Nagrota Camp has already been submitted to Assistant Commissioner Camp Relief organization and Camp Commandant Nagrota, Jammu for allotment of two rooms sets in their favour in Jagti Township
Pandita has said that though the government had been kind enough to make appointments of educated migrant youths in Kashmir valley but these have been posted at far off places from the existing transit camps build up in Kashmir Valley in different districts, as such has made an appeal to the Chief Minister for ensuring adjustment of these newly appointed youth.
He has appealed to government for advertising the remaining 3000 posts under Prime Ministers' employment package and creating of additional 500 posts for class IV for those candidates of migrant’s families who could not continue their studies beyond matriculation due to unavoidable domestic circumstances with grant of age of relaxation by 7 years.
An appeal has been made to the government for granting .compensation in lump sum to each migrant family for the losses suffered by each individual migrant family during the past 20 years of exile.
Pandita has demanded construction of Satellite Township in Kashmir Valley for rehabilitating the Kashmir Migrants for their return back to Kashmir Valley.
Pandita has further made appeal to the government for enhancing the cash assistance relief in favour of the Kashmiri migrants.
Pandita has made an appeal to the minister Revenue Relief and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla for mitigating the sufferings of this Migrant community by fulfilling the demands.
