| VERA holds protest demonstration | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, March 18 : The Volunteer Retirement Employees Association (VERA) organised a demonstration here today under the leadership of Dev Raj Bali and Surinder Singh in front of MD, J&K SRTC .
The demonstration in the shape of rally marched towards the Office of Addl. Provident Fund Commissioner Rail Head Complex and sat on dharna.
The main issue of holding the demonstration regarding non-release of CP Fund interest amount which comes to the tune of Rs. 23, 28,494.
They even flayed the behavior Addl. Commissioner CP Fund who they alleged was deliberately delaying the matter.
Later, they threatened to go on stir if their problem is not solved at the earliest.
Balwinder Singh, B.V. Sharma, Prem Nath, Ashan Elahi, Surjit Singh and others were present in the said demonstration.
