| Cultural prog organised | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur, March 18: Progressive youth society, an NGO, in the collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Udhampur organised a cultural programme in the premises of panchayat ghar, Kaghote (10 kms from Ramnagar) in which social worker Des Raj was the chief guest whereas young leader Virender Singh presided over.
Raj Kumar, P.E.T, was the guest of honour. The programme started with welcome address by Manoj “Nishchint”, renowned poet, writer, lecturer in physics and President progressive Youth Society.
The programme was conducted by O.P. “Deepak”. Renowed singers like Satpal Sharma, Rajinder Singh “Sagar”, Uttam Singh “Albela”, and Manju Bala enthralled the audience with their melodious songs and gazals
Roop Chand and party presented Dogri folk songs and dance which was the main attraction of the function. Ravinder Magotra, Billu Badshah, Kulbhusan Sharma and Pappu coordinated the function whereas Kumar Gorav presented vote of thanks. The programme was a memorable event indeed.
